On 28 May 2021, Yayasan Bakti Barito joined the Indonesian government in humanitarian relief efforts to deliver 2,000 oxygen cylinders for Covid-19 patients in India. This is to support Indonesia’s commitment to help India in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic.
The donation was presented by Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita to the Ambassador of India. Rudy Suparman of Yayasan Bakti Barito Board of Directors and Director of PT Barito Pacific Tbk David Kosasih also attended the event.

On 25 January 2021, a subsidiary of PT Barito Pacific Tbk, PT Griya Idola, distributed food packages to the Tangerang Regency Government. The distribution of food packages is part of the Griya Idola Care program which was initiated in 2020. The assistance which collected collectively from the tenants of the Griya Idola Industrial Park industrial area is expected to help restore the economy of the communities affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
To support the shared efforts to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, Prajogo Pangestu, the Founder and Chairman of Barito Pacific Group together with the Group's subsidiaries, Chandra Asri, Star Energy and Bakti Barito Foundation, have donated Rp 48.5 billion worth of protective suits, masks, COVID-19 PCR and rapid tests, gloves and other items to various state-owned hospitals and communities living near their operational areas.
PT Barito Pacific Tbk held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on 24 September 2020 at Wisma Barito Pacific – Jakarta, with the observance of strict health protocols. This EGMS was headed by Mr. Henky Susanto, an Independent Commissioner of the Company. The EGMS accepted the resignation of Mr. Andry Setiawan as the Company’s Director and approved the appointment of Mr. David Raimond Sulaiman and Mrs. Diana Arsiyanti as the new Directors of the Company effective at the close of the EGMS.
Griya Idola Industrial Park (GIIP), as the most exclusive industrial park in western Jakarta, developed by PT Griya Idola, contributes to the Covid-19 prevention by providing thousands of Healthcare Kit to the neighborhood of Cikupa, Tangerang. The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event themed Griya Idola Care is held on Tuesday, 15 September 2020, by PT Griya Idola as the developer of Griya Idola Industrial Park.
“The main focus of this event is to raise the caution and spread the awareness to start taking care of ourselves and family as a part of Covid-19 prevention.” said Eddy Karli, PT Griya Idola director. “The hygienic and healthy lifestyles must be implemented more to decrease the transmission, which will have an indirect impact on the economic recovery of the neighborhood.” he added.

Those prevention acts aiming to support the government program to flatten the curve of Covid-19 transmission, besides providing the peace and comfort to all GIIP tenants.
Griya Idola Industrial Park, located near Bitung toll gate, hopes to continue the support with another CSR activities. It is expected to contribute to a broader aspect of the resident around the industrial park.
