Barito Pacific Group through Bakti Barito Foundation donated 1,000 tons of rice to Central Java

Barito Pacific Group through Bakti Barito foundation with the suppport of FKS Food as supplier partner donated 1,000 tons of rice to communities directly affected by the emergency PPKM, especially daily workers and those working in the informal sector. FKS Food also donated a number of rice noodles and flour to increase the fulfillment of the community's food needs.

This assistance is distributed in stages through the 4th Regional Military Command (Kodam IV) Diponegoro, a Regional Defense Command for Central Java and Special Region of Yogyakarta.

We sincerely hope this contribution will be able to ease the burden of the community affected by the emergency PPKM. Let us all be kind and helpful to one another and together we can overcome this Covid-19 pandemic.

On 25 January 2021, a subsidiary of PT Barito Pacific Tbk, PT Griya Idola, distributed food packages to the Tangerang Regency Government. The distribution of food packages is part of the Griya Idola Care program which was initiated in 2020. The assistance which collected collectively from the tenants of the Griya Idola Industrial Park industrial area is expected to help restore the economy of the communities affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic.

This EGMS was headed by Mr. Henky Susanto, an Independent Commissioner of the Company. The EGMS accepted the resignation of Mr. Andry Setiawan as the Company’s Director and approved the appointment of Mr. David Raimond Sulaiman and Mrs. Diana Arsiyanti as the new Directors of the Company effective at the close of the EGMS.

Griya Idola Care 2020: A Step to Support Covid-19 Prevention

Griya Idola Industrial Park (GIIP), as the most exclusive industrial park in western Jakarta, developed by PT Griya Idola, contributes to the Covid-19 prevention by providing thousands of Healthcare Kit to the neighborhood of Cikupa, Tangerang. The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event themed Griya Idola Care is held on Tuesday, 15 September 2020, by PT Griya Idola as the developer of Griya Idola Industrial Park.

“The main focus of this event is to raise the caution and spread the awareness to start taking care of ourselves and family as a part of Covid-19 prevention.” said Eddy Karli, PT Griya Idola director. “The hygienic and healthy lifestyles must be implemented more to decrease the transmission, which will have an indirect impact on the economic recovery of the neighborhood.” he added.

Griya Idola Industrial Park is a fully integrated industrial park in western Jakarta, providing complete industrial and business facilities with modern advanced infrastructure. GIIP offers a superior logistical advantage, being strategically located at Jl. Raya Serang Km.12 with excellent connectivity to Jakarta’s Central Business District, international airport, and two major seaports. As a fully licensed industrial park, GIIP provides a one-stop solution for your industrial and business needs, from industrial land plots, standard factory buildings, and warehouses to a commercial zone of retail, dining, banking, and hotel facilities. As a spacious industrial park spanning over 110 hectares, it implemented tight protocols to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. It is explained by Agus Rianto as the Estate Management of GIIP, that several prevention activities have been implemented inside the industrial park, including the temperature check at every entrance, disinfect (fogging) all the facilities and public area in every two weeks, the hand sanitizer supplies, the distribution of hundreds of mask to the gardener, security, and face shield for marketing gallery as well as providing the Covid-19 test facility for staff (free) and public (paid) through BiomediLab (medical lab) inside the industrial park. Those prevention acts aiming to support the government program to flatten the curve of Covid-19 transmission, besides providing the peace and comfort to all GIIP tenants.

Griya Idola Industrial Park, located near Bitung toll gate, hopes to continue the support with another CSR activities. It is expected to contribute to a broader aspect of the resident around the industrial park.
