Barito Pacific (BRPT) Obtaining Shareholders Approval to Use Net Profits Through the AGMS

Jakarta, 13 May 2022 – PT Barito Pacific (BRPT) has held an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) and an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) which were held at the same time on Wednesday (11/5) at Wisma Barito Pacific II, Slipi, West Jakarta.

In the AGMS was held, several agenda items were reviewed, one of which was the approval of the use of the company's net profit for the 2021 financial year.

The AGMS and EGMS that were held were chaired by Mr. Henky Susanto as Independent Commissioner and also attended by Mr. David Kosasih, Mr. Rudy Suparman, Mrs. Diana Arsiyanti, and Mrs. Salwati Agustina. The President Director of Barito Pacific, Mr. Agus Pangestu also attended the AGMS via video conference.

Based on the results of the AGMS, the shareholders agreed to use US$ 20 million or equivalent to 18% of net profit for the 2021 financial year as cash dividends.

Mr. David Kosasih as Finance Director of Barito Pacific said "Cash dividends are paid to the company's shareholders whose names have been recorded in the company's Shareholders Register or called the recording date on 24 May 2022 at 16.00 WIB."

On a consolidated basis, BRPT has posted a 35% increase in net income to 3,2 billion compared to US$ 2,3 billion in 2020, and a 101% increase in net profit to US$ 296 million compared to US$ 147 million in 2020.

Moreover, Chandra Asri, which is a subsidiary of BRPT, has successfully carried out the Right Issue by raising funds of US$ 1,1 billion with the joining of a strategic global partner, Thai Oil.

Chandra Asri also managed to achieve a solid performance with a net profit of US$152 million in 2021, which has tripled from 2020.

In the future, BRPT will continue its growth plan even in a situation full of challenges.
