This initiative marks a historic milestone as the first school in Indonesia built by transforming low-value plastic waste into a recycled composite material for educational facilities.
Cilegon, 24 September 2026 – KOLASE (Kolaborasi Ekonomi Sirkular Kelola Sampah di Sekolah / Circular Economy Collaboration for Waste Management in Schools), a collaborative program initiated by the Cilegon City Environmental Agency (DLH), PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group), and Yayasan Bakti Barito, has expanded its implementation to 120 schools across Cilegon City.
