Jakarta, 31 Jul. 2026 - PT Barito Pacific Tbk. (“Barito Pacific”, “BRPT” or the “Company”) today released its unaudited consolidated financial statements for the first Six months of 2026:
Agus Pangestu, the Company’s President Director states that:
“The first half of 2026 continued to be shaped by a volatile global operating environment, with geopolitical developments remaining fluid and uncertainty persisting across energy markets. Against this backdrop, Barito Pacific's integrated Energy, Chemicals, and Infrastructure platform continued to demonstrate its resilience, supported by disciplined execution and the increasing contribution from its infrastructure and renewable energy businesses.
For the first half of 2026, the Company delivered strong EBITDA of US$1,089 million and consolidated net profit after tax of US$518 million, reflecting the resilience of our integrated business model and disciplined operational execution. The successful integration of Shell Singapore asset provides exceptional refinery performance amid middle east market dislocation, while market conditions for standalone chemical facilities in Indonesia remained challenging. The strength of our diversified portfolio enabled us to capture opportunities across the value chain while mitigating weakness in selected segments. Importantly, our integrated manufacturing network across Indonesia and Singapore enhanced supply reliability and operational flexibility, enabling us to help alleviate supply constraints in the domestic market amid heightened geopolitical uncertainty and disruptions to global supply chains.
Building on this strong first-half performance, we remain firmly committed to investing in Indonesia, with our domestic CA-EDC project progressing steadily. The approximately US$1 billion investment has reached 72% construction completion and remains on track for commissioning in 2027. In parallel, we continue to advance the expansion of our geothermal operations, which is expected to increase our total installed geothermal capacity to above 1 GW by the end of the year. Together, these investments underscore our long-term commitment to strengthening Indonesia's industrial and energy infrastructure while supporting sustainable economic growth.
As an Indonesian company evolving into a leading regional energy and industrial group, we remain committed to strengthening our domestic foundation while selectively pursuing value-accretive inorganic growth opportunities across the region. Looking ahead, Barito Pacific remains focused on executing its long-term transformation strategy, enhancing earnings resilience, and delivering sustainable value for all stakeholders.
