As part of the National Strategic Project, Chandra Asri Group, along with Danantara Indonesia and the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), signed a Conditional Share Subscription Agreement (CSSA) to support the construction of a Chlor Alkali–Ethylene Dichloride (CA-EDC) facility in Cilegon, Banten.
With a project value of approximately USD 800 million and a USD 200 million investment commitment from Danantara and INA, this initiative is a crucial step in reducing dependence on imports of strategic chemical raw materials, strengthening the resilience of the domestic industry, and supporting Indonesia's long-term downstreaming and economic transformation agenda.
This collaboration reflects the synergy between the industrial sector and national investment institutions in building the foundation for sustainable growth.
